We Are Proven to be the Best: A New Report on the Safety of Monat Haircare Products
When it comes to direct selling, Monat is considered one of the best companies to work for, and it has just been awarded the best company to work for in the field. Now there has been a new report on the safety of Monat products.
New Confirmation on the Safety of Monat Products
As Business Wire reports, the safety of Monat Products was confirmed by Dr. Antonella Tosti. Tosti is a Fredric Brandt Endowed Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Dr. Tosti’s findings were presented at the 11th World Congress of Hair in Barcelona, and the exact products that were tested were Monat Shampoos (Renew, Revive, Black 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner, Intense Repair), Monat Conditioners (Intense Repair, Restore, Revitalize), and Monat Treatment (Intense Repair).
The results of this study shows that Monat Products “do not irritate the skin, do not contain strong contact allergens [and] do not damage the hair fiber.” (In fact, Tosti says that these products can improve the quality of your hair shaft.)
The tests on these products included “repeated insult patch tests” that used “final products and nine selected ingredients / ingredient mixes” on fifty people who volunteered over a period of 45 days. These products were also tested on 60 other volunteers who had a variety of different skin types, to make sure the safety of these products on skin as well as people’s hair was guarunteed.
The Results of This Study
The results of this report? As this story explains, hair “combability and strength” were “improved,” there was also “no hair breakage or loss of hair flexibility even when used on bleached on damaged hair.” This report says that there was “no change in superficial structure of normal, virgin hair,” and in addition, there was “improved superficial structure of damaged bleached and dyed hair.”
Dr. Tosti’s Credentials As a Monat Scientific Board Member
Dr. Tosti is an executive at Monat, and she has major credentials. Not only is Dr. Tosti the Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami, as Monat’s official website explains, “She is [also] a worldwide recognized expert in hair and nail disorders and contact dermatitis as well as an invited lecturer at major international conferences.”
Dr. Tosti also has extensive credentials as an editor and writer. Dr. Tosti is the editor of four textbooks that deal with how to treat hair loss, and well as the book Dermoscopy of Hair Nails, which is “the first hair and nail atlas on dermoscopy every published.”
